WOW!!! What a week. Last week my father in law was sitting shiva for his mother. I offered my house to him and his sisters. It was an intense week. People where in and out of my house all day for a week. My three kids were great! I can't believe how well behaved they are. I guess it shows that I am a good mom, raising good kids :-) A nice pat on the back is always good.
Shabbas last week was so weird for me, it was odd for me not to cook for shabbas. I love to cook, I love food! I just did not have time to cook. I have to say that being part of a community is so amazing. I just mentioned to someone at my daughters school that my week was crazy and how I needed a break. Two amazing ladies, dropped off food for Shabbas. What a blessing. I have been blessed with good friends and I am so thankful.
Food brings people together, and more so in Jewish culture (i think). It was so unbelievable that so many people chipped in and helped. I thank you all who helped.
Thank you to my amazing children who gave their mommy up for a week. I am so proud to be your mom!
